Nannies are assigned to each family upon arrival. There is no extra charge. They take care of babies, play with the children, attend children's activities with them, keep the room tidy and make sure the room refrigerators are kept stocked with juices, water, etc. Services are provided until 4 PM. Coconut Bay Resort is comprised of a family side (Splash) and an adult side (Harmony). On the Splash side, there are 2 body slides, a lazy river, a water park play zone, a large playground, a pirate ship, arts and crafts area, nap area.
The kids club has supervised activities. Mascots visit the club and they also welcome children in the lobby each evening.There is a new program for preteens -- a survivor-like adventure club with eco activities, exploration, hikes, team games, problem solving puzzles. Kids programs for babies through teenagers with supervised staff trained in the USA. Coconut Bay is the only resort in the Caribbean to offer paint ball.
The beach is small but nice and has a sheltered swim area. A larger beach is about a 5 minute walk.
There is a large main pool for families with a shoreline entry which is good for toddlers. This pool has a swim up bar.
In addition to the water slides, adults enjoy: Day and evening entertainment programs, tennis, exercise class, once time a week there's a 2-hour walk to town, tennis with free lessons, spa, ping pong,snorkeling off shore (not much to see), Off property tours include Rainforest tour with zip line / Catamaran cruise / Nightly entertainment. Iberostar Rose Hall Suites is a new resort about 15 minutes from Montego Bay.
Fun things to do at this resort include Lucy's Club for children, a lazy river, water sports, volleyball, tennis, basketball, fitness center, spa, nightly entertainment. A man made reef is about 50 yards off shore. My clients love it because they see lots and lots of tropical fish when they snorkel.
Suites have a king or 2 double beds and a sofa bed. Each suite has a large balcony, flat screen TV, DVD player, shower and separate tub, 24-hour room service, stocked mini-bar with water and soft drinks. There are 7 a la carte dining options.

Sunset Beach Resort, Montego Bay: This resort has a nice water park with 2 water slides and a lazy river. The rooms need updating but they are clean. The food is good and there is variety. Snorkeling is great off shore with numerous fish. You will want to bring your own snorkel gear and beach shoes. There are day and evening entertainment programs. Water sports include snorkeling, paddleboats, Sunfish sailing, kayaking. Land activities include mini-golf, tennis, shuffleboard, giant chess or checkers, basket ball, beach volleyball, pool. The kids club is for ages 2 -1 2. There is a teen center.
Sunset Jamaica Grande in Ocho Rios recently completed a multi-million dollar rebuild. It boasts the longest private white sand beach in Ocho Rios at 1300 feet. There are 5 pools that meander through the resort with plunge pools, water falls, a lazy river, hot tubs, and the lighthouse water slide. Activities include a kids club (ages 2-12), teen center, disco, casino, kayaking, water bikes, ocean trampolines. Nearby is a golf course, horseback riding, and river rafting.
Breezes Trelawny near Runaway Bay is owned by SuperClubs Resorts. Breezes Trelawny is a kids dream resort. It is super for families with lots of water sports, 4 pools, circus workshop, tennis, basket ball, theme parties, tennis, games, rock climbing wall, casino with slots, spa, disco. The adult pool water slide is 83 feet long. The kid's pool water slide is 124 feet long. & a water park with an aqueduct that shoots water into the pool and a fountain. The resort is clean but could use updating. Kids Club starts at 6 months.
Paradisus RIviera Cancun is a replica of a Mayan village with narrow paths and charming 3-story bungalows. The resort is fully functionable for accessibility for disabled persons with 4 suites dedicated to accessibe needs. Kids Club ages start at 45 days.
